About the department

Built on rigor. Run for continuity.

A short introduction to who we are, what we stand for, and the people currently steering the department.

Overview

Department of Economics

The Department of Economics trains students in economic theory, quantitative methods and policy analysis, preparing graduates for careers across finance, public policy, research and industry. This page — and the platform behind it — exists so that identity doesn't reset every time leadership changes.

Our academic archive, executive history, achievements and events all live in one place, maintained by whichever administration is currently in office, inherited cleanly by the next.
